Old Business/Action Item Review

COVID-19 status review - Open Hack closure status

The WHO is speaking about a pair of variants they are watching with concern and are monitoring the Eastern Seaboard of the US. Oregon case counts and charts are showing a very slight uptick but overall active cases are trending downwards. The NY numbers are showing a more pronounced uptick but things still look quite moderate.

Karen does not advocate any changes at this time but suggests we keep our eye on the situation. Our current policy seems to be working, no conflicts reported.

The web page has been updated to reflect the current situation/policy.

Karen will remove open hacks for the next month (barring volunteers) and put something together asking for volunteers

Done! And after removing the existing open hacks, volunteers were found to host a few open hacks. The system works!
