When a new member shows up and wants to give us money for membership, we should guide them through this process:
- Prospective member: register an account at members.eugenemakerspace.com/register , confirm your account
- Prospective member: select a membership plan, add your credit card information. It is stored securely by Stripe.
- Prospective member: Complete the new member induction by filling out the google form linked to when you click Start Induction.
- Review the linked documents you're asked to agree to.
- Message the @Board Member role on Discord or find someone in person once you have done this.)
- Inducting member: Go to the form results sheet, go over the results and make sure it's cromulent.
- Inducting member: Go to the MemberMatters admin portal's Profile settings, and find the profile of the person who has just registered
- Inducting member: Go to Induction Date, and click Now and Today:
- Inducting member: if the prospective member has signed up for a membership tier that includes storage, set them up with some.
- Prospective Member: refresh the member portal and you'll be a real member. Thanks, and happy hacking!
