One thing that can be said about this year is that like any other year, it's had some good points and bad things. One of the highlights of this year is that the winning streak of the MCU with films including Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War. Still, there's a lot of hype over the upcoming season due to the upcoming films like Captain Marvel, and more so the yet untitled Avengers 4 movie. Folks are especially hyped over the upcoming Avengers 4 movie that has reportedly wrapped and then gone back into shooting more celebrities being added. People still do not know the name of the upcoming film. One thing we do understand is that the final movie may be more than three hours , making it the longest Marvel film yet.

Other things to be hyped and excited about are some big films which were supposed to have been published this year but have been transferred back to the next year. One of the movies that are being transferred around in program are Alita: Battle Angel, and The New Mutants. These films have been postponed, but not due to any issues with the last product. It's more to do with all the scheduling. For instance, Alita has been pushed back in favour of a"new" Deadpool film, which is interested because Deadpool 2 has been recently released earlier this year.


Additionally, there are plenty of other things to be excited about for the upcoming season in big screen entertainment. A good deal of the thrilling events have been pushed to the very first half of 2019, with little clue as to what might be coming in the latter half of 2019 besides Star Wars Ep IX.
