Contents
Call to order:
A Regular meeting of the Board of directors of EMS, was held at 687 McKinley street, Suite #2, Eugene OR on June 5th , 2013. The meeting convened at 6:09 PM, Rick Osgood, presiding, and Clif Cox secretary.
Board Members in attendance: Clif Rick, Bob, and Kevin
Board Members not in attendance: Kassie
Quorum present? Yes
Also Present Were: none
Approve agenda, and previous minutes.
Agenda:
- Approve the agenda
- Review previous meeting minutes
- Vote to reimburse Rick for pizza
- Vote to reimburse Rick for PO Box
- Taxes.
- Explore plan to act on a new space.
- Eugene Mini Maker Faire.
- Family Hack Day Debrief.
Approval of Agenda: Motion was made by Rick, and seconded by Bob to approve this meeting's proposed agenda.
Unanimous approval.
Motion carried.
Approval of minutes: Motion was made by Rick, and seconded by Kevin to approve the minutes of the 5/01/13 meeting.
Unanimous approval.
Motion carried.
Vote to reimburse Rick for Pizza
MOTION - Bob moved, and Kevin Seconded that:To reimburse Rick for pizza an an amount not to exceed $85.
Rick abstained the rest ayes.
Motion Carried
Vote to reimburse Rick for PO Box
MOTION - Kevin moved, and Bob Seconded that:To reimburse Rick for the semi annual payment for the PO Box in the amount of $39
Rick abstained the rest ayes.

Taxes:
Kevin can not file our charity form yet, because School factory is a little late filling our federal taxes.
Explore plan to act on a new space.
We haven't really been coordinated in how we look for a space. We should try to come up with a plan of attack.
So how much could we afford anyway? We think about $1150ish for about six months and try to grow membership to match. There was talk about forming a space searching committee.We need to compile some numbers on our group, also it would be good to query.the membership for what they want or where they want it. and what extra features they would like.
Family Hack Day
So Bob made a family hack sign that was even tackier than before! ;-) There were about 6 kids.The kids had fun the members had a blast and the parents did too!. He would like to charge for it.Next time we also need a stack of kid waivers!
Eugene Mini Maker Faire!
It's coming up next weekend. Bring lots fliers and membership forms.
