Eugene Maker Space Board of Directors special meeting October 3rd, 2025

Call to order

Motion: Sam moved that the Eugene Makerspace Board of Directors Approve agenda as presented.

The motion was seconded by Troy.

Motion passes, the vote was approved unanimously.

Postpone annual election to account for many potential members still waiting for a space to pay for. We propose the following amended schedule:
- Call for Nominations: Oct 8th
- Candidate list finalized and nominations accepted by Nov 7
- Distribute candidate list on Nov 8
- Online voting begins: Dec 6th
- Election concludes Dec 13th
Motion: Sam moved that the Eugene Makerspace Board of Directors adopt this schedule for the 2025 election cycle only.

The motion was seconded by Suzi.

Motion passes, the vote was approved unanimously.

Motion: Sam moved that the Eugene Makerspace Board of Directors expand the definition of “member in good standing” for the purposes of the 2025 election only, to include all paid ($10/mo and up) membership tiers.

The motion was seconded by Suzi.

Motion passes, the vote was approved unanimously.

- Voters need to have been a member in good standing for the 60 days preceding the election.
- A "member in good standing" is someone who pays $10 a month or more, and has done so without interruption or default over this period.
