Shop status

Ben used the shop a couple days ago, nothing big to report. Looked fine.

Old Business/Action Item Review

COVID-19 status review - Open Hack closure status

CDC has issued a notice for Lane County recommending masks indoors. It is not a mandate, but a science-based recommendation. There have been no confrontations reported at the shop under our current policy requesting people wear masks when possible and respect the right of others to wear masks without criticism. We will continue to recommend mask usage.

Ben will contact the membership to see if anyone is interested in cleaning up and configuring the 3d printer for checkout

Ed Russo with City of Eugene re: Parking phonecall

Ben left a message with Ed requesting more info, no response.

Lock on dumpster

Karen reported that we agreed to replace the lock, had it replaced, it was installed, and a member has tested it. Karen stenciled our name on the dumpster to help avoid any further confusion.

Review upcoming events

We have open hacks for Friday the 9th and 16th as well as October 1st a call for nominees for the BoD. Notifications will be sent to the membership.
